The way I see it....just as you don't like all the people you meet along the way, they also won't all like you.

I think being happy with your life and relaxed about yourself is half the battle.

Also, no one is perfect, so what's the fuss?

Hi again Maluenda, When I say I am living a healthy lifestyle, i cant afford gym and couldnt be bothered ! I don't want to be obsessed with having a washboard stomach, a curve [I have a tummy] is very natural at my age, why make life harder ? I hate the culture of self obsession. ive had 3 ops recently on my tummy and that has kinda put some scars and swelling there so its more important to live and be happy. Dont let ourselves go to pot but like you say airbrushing and Advertising fools people and preys on womens fears. Some men are fooled by it too. I finished with a man because he was forever looking at beautiful women and admiring them onscreen, in television and after a while I just got so fed up and said 'Look, I'm not good enough for you, go find a woman who is like a film star ' having worked in advertising I know all the tricks they use. To see some stars and top models without their make up and special effects can be a real suprise! I would love to hear about some of your healthy recipes. I am not cook of the year.

Maluenda - You are a very very nice person and also very feminine and grounded. I find your take on life very uplifting and it's refreshing to have such a down to earth lady on here. My friends are obsessed with Botox, have mostly had 'work' done on their faces and I often feel lonely in that I feel being self absorbed and obsessed with beauty and youth is a fruitless waste of a life and fills the soul with fear, we will all age an die. Your Apple Pie sounds great !! Am abit wartorn at the moment and it still hurts abit but will do as you say, contact somebody who seems nice and if they dont reply..... its their loss. Ever think of becoming an Agony aunt ? Seriously !!!!

Wow Maluenda, you are beautiful..If I see you that way, then there is no reason why you don't see yourself beautiful. Now I am not questioning the billion dollar revenues, generated among other things, to enhance the physical human body, i.e. exercise, diet and actual physical operation (mutilation, to some). Rather, I am approaching your concern and quote: YOU FEEL YOU ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL enough for the people whom you are considering or attempting to love..

Now the root of this question is in your heart and soul. You have to feel beautiful because we are all God's creation or that we are born with our own inherent beauty. PHYSICAL is skin deep, it is the matter inside the heart and soul that counts. That is precious. Please read DESIDERATA (if you compare yourself with others, you will become vain and bitter, for always, there will be lesser and greater person than yourself) For me? I will love and always did, a man, not with their looks but what they are made of relative to: humility, kindness, character and generosity.

That's it. But this is me, you are beautiful..Look inside your heart, the calmness of your soul, your confidence in the belief that all of us are BEAUTIFUL. Heck, I admire, people and they look beautiful to me even without their faces yet revealed...and the most important thing Maluenda? They, too, make me feel beautiful.
