My Daughter was Attacked by a Dog!

I came home last night and my son ran out and screamed...Hurry mom...D......'s been hurt very badly! So, I ran inside and there was blood everywhere! The English Bulldog had gotten into a fight with the 9 month part Pitbull and when my daughter and her boyfriend tried to break up the fight, the Bulldog grabbed her foot and shook her with 2000 PSI in his bite and also bit her hands and bit his owner, my son's girlfriend...he then chased my daughter's boyfriend to attack him until my son came in and then he realized he was in "big trouble". We have to keep him for ten days to make sure he does not have Rabies and then we are going to put him down...very sad!!!

glad your daughter is alright
Sorry to hear this.
So much has happened with dogs, esp. with combat dogs. Dogs caused more casualties than wolves but are said to be man's best friend. Just remember the time of Hernando de Soto in Florida bringing combat dogs to tear the Indians apart.

Hope these bad wounds will heal!

Hello Leah,

one day there will be sunshine in Minisoda again!teddybear
Talking about dogs, my dog just ran out now at 1am in the morning, attacked the dog at the gate next door, then the neigbours across the road came out with their poodle to see what was happening, and then my dog attacked the poodle at the fence.
she was shouting at me now. I just ignored her, but she will probably report me. OH, well, whats new.
Gee, that story gave me flashbacks. I've had rescued a Dalmation who based on former trauma would attack stranger out of the blue, without any reason. As hard it was, putting him down was the only responsible thing to do. I really feel you on this one sad flower
how about a picture of her foot ? wave
My respect of Calli. I hope your daughter recovers. I think who has dogs, shouldn't let out a dog without are sewn up.

i am sorry to hear about your daughter, but please think about when your dog is getting crazy to fight with other dog so he will doing something badly, please think about it and dont put him down. As your dog he trusted you as if you are her mum, so please please think another way to settle this case, maybe send her to some other owner only have one dog., please try to sit back and think why your dog doing this, must have reason. please as a human being we can find some way to settle instead of putting him down, we have no right to doing this.please please try to think that if you putting him down you are betrayed him, try to figure out why he doing this first and find the way out. please please dont put him down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have an experience to put my dog down because he bite my sister seriously and i was very young to handle this, if now i am sure i wont, i will try to figure out why why he bite her. since i put her down, i cant forgive myself up to now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sad but necessary. As much as I love animals. Once a dog had bitten once he will do it again.

Thank you for all your comments. The dog belongs to my son and his girlfriend....we heard about a place that rehabilitates aggressive dogs....but, I am concerned that he will do it again.....About three days before it happened, I looked at him and his eyes were very "funny" looking. I said to him..."What's wrong Abey-Baby?"blues
