On the Blog there is Valentine all over the place.
Who was Valentine?
Was he a man or woman?
Where is he or she from?
What is meaning of valentines day? <the real meaning>

I have friends from North Africa
there is no valentine day in that part of the world.
And last does Sint Francis have any thing to do with Valentines Day???

There is not much relibly about Sint Valentine except his name and when he died 14 February

So where is the connetion with cupid love bugs and the rest.

@James..... Here in the U.S.A. valentines is when sweethearts buy each other gifts such as chocolate and flowers, it's also known to have an effect on single people, because they say Cupid fires his darts at people!!dunno

As boy in school we write love letters to our girl friends,
At that time one had not ask where valentine day is coming from.
From the comments I have seen here
not many people knows the answer

...Valentine was a bishop in the Roman Empire circa 300 AD...The emperor had banned marriage because married men didn't want to join or be in the army...Valentine kept marrying people till he was caught and arrested...he choose his god over the emperor so he was tortured and beheaded...church made him a saint and red is to represent the blood he spilled...so its what he did for marriage over adversity I suppose...
