A woman and her dreams

There once was a woman while contemplating her life her hopes her dreams as she took a basket of rose pedals she had picked from a nearby field and each day she would go to a local brook under a willow tree and place one pedal into the water and closed her eyes then opened them to see the pedal was gone.
Then got up and walked away to continue her day.
Each and everyday she would come to the brook bringing her basket
and placed one pedal into the brook and closed her eyes then walked away.
A knight while riding on a horse coming from a far country silently striding along saw the woman coming to brook
placing a pedal in the water. The knight had stopped to water the horse and drink from the brook himself. The woman startled by his presence was about to leave out of fear but decided to stay out of curiosity. The knight asked her what was with the rose pedals and why only one why not a few? The woman explained that each one was a dream she had from the previous night some good and some bad. Each one had their quality and merit but I only send out one for each. The knight asked just how many dreams ever get fulfilled? How many ever go unanswered?
She said very few get answered yet the quality of those that do get answered is what counts. The ones in the brook are the dreams that get answered. The ones still in the basket are still waiting to be fulfilled.
The knight pulled out a sack of pebbles he has collected in his travels he said he collected pebbles to remind him of all the pain he caused and the pain he endured. He thought if he placed one pebble on top of a rose pedal the woman placed in the brook what would become of his pebbles and her petals. Would they sink or float? So they tried it and came back another day when she was ready to place her next dream petal. The knight place his pebble of pain upon it and but miracle it floated effortlessly.
They both realized a truth that with great pain do dreams can perhaps come true. For the strength of beauty in dreams are fragile but can withstand much pain and endurance. As for love only the test of time can make dreams come true.

No its a horrible idea and Minerva is right.
When one places a stone too heavy upon another
one has to ask just how much another can handle.
Noble the idea may have been I can only suggest to
all of you out there don't ask your object of affection
more than they can bear if you are not willing to offer the
same in return.
As for the typos I apologize for I was not thinking clearly when I wrote this.
You have quite beautiful inspiration -while not thinking clearlylaugh
