OMG
Freedom and great dinner for snailsApril was dry until last night, when it poured. And at once here they came. Arion lusitanicus, the buffed spanish snail, in hundreds from nowhere. Well, they did not sing: Oh when the Saints come marchin' in. But still had a good time, these rocks. Their color is brown in many shades and most of them are youngsters hoping to eat a lot great dinners and to grow old. Hardly any predators like them like me, too, running around with a kitchen knife but without a fork. But I am too blind to see them all and for one I stab ten may survive. The cat laughs at me and wonders: Hey Bert wait till its frozen, then they are frozen. Hahaha.
So I'm the lonesome fighter for freedom from snails and dinner of greens. Wasting my time collecting my pee in a tank to dump it for 20 $ in Californio. Though it is mostly water and like manure.
