in turkish we say ' ekinler basgöstermeden kör buzagi topallamaz.
which means that before a love affair evolves some or many people succeed to live normally but aafter love interactions the neurotic fields of the brain tend to slow down.
I interpret that line as....for a man of course....once he falls in love, the woman will no longer allow him to think or use his brain.
for some love is blind and for some its a blackout
