What lies beneath ???

Not for the first time I am getting the mail from a man who has a photo of his house attached to his profile.
What is it about ?
A question to men - Why ??? What they are trying to tell ???
A question to ladies - What kind of message are you getting from it?
On one hand , I think that they are targeting a certain type of woman. On the other hand , I see them as people who lack
self-confidence . Or ???

I gave once a member the well meant advice to take his properties pictures down as it was attracting the wrong kind of women and putting off the kind of woman he was actually looking for according to his profile text. He thanked me and to find out whether I've had more sound advice for his dating life he invited me for breakfast at the beach as soon he'd be on the Island I used to live. Three months later, during promised breakfast I've learned that the reason he had put up those pictures was that he had designed and build those houses himself and wanted to show and share his work. After viewing his local property I've had to admit that he had all reason to be proud of it but still suggested to take the pictures down as not to attract any gold diggers.
That was the beginning of a wonderful, amazing relationship! I've almost missed out on a fantastic man because I was judgmental

Lucky me I can't keep my mouth shut when it comes to constructive criticism

WELLLL! This is what I think.

On many dating sites I have read certain criteria necessary to start dating the particular woman whose profile your reading. These woman start by saying, "Looking for a financially secure man that owns his own house and car, etc., etc., etc.

I think he's letting any interested woman that he is a possibility so please inquire within!
