3 More Weeks
It's hard to believe that in 3 weeks I'll be leaving Saudi Arabia never to return. 23 years of my life distilled into 21 days.Am I being sentimental?
No.
I'm being driven out of my mind.
When I was in bed last Thursday night I had a panic attack. I never have panic attacks, but there it was. I got about 1 hour sleep that night, then put in 2 straight 15 hour days trying to make the lingering feeling of unease disappear.
Everything is under control, but I still have this feeling that something horrible is going to...
No it's not.
Everything is going to be fine.
But I've been more extra scatterbrained than usual.
I'm getting better at meditation. I'm able to empty my mind for up to 30 seconds.

The father of my kids felt the same as you are now when he left his job as a chef at The Raffes Hotel, Singapore in 1998 after working there for slightly more than 10 years.
It sure was a surreal feeling and an emotional one too. However, it was a good thing he left for greener pasture coz it wouldn't do his career any good should he remained.
I remember you saying that you'd be spending more time with your aging parents. Well, I hope you enjoy your time with them, Posti
I think it's normal and keep in mind, there are always planes and holidays to go back from time to time.
Hope all goes well for you.
i was just in taking a peep at your profile...
the way i see it, if a man can jump out of a plane wearing a santy suit and still end up on his feet, then i'm sure he'll find his footing were ere he goes
Good luck to you in following your star
were all born under one
mindya" some are born under ahead of cabbage
A brand new sky is about opening its arms for you. Enjoy it while it lasts. and 30 seconds emptying your mind could mean the first start to a giant step. congratulation!
Fill it with sand, that way could sit in it when you get homesick
I pray you have a safe trip home, and know that your panic attacks are normal when you consider how long you have been away.
Be safe and don't allow fear of something "horrible" happening, keep you from rejoicing.
May God bless you and be with you in all thigs and guide you and protect you in your safe return.
COMING BACK HOME SAFELY CELEBRATION IS IN ORDER!!!
