Manila

My boss has a resort in Batangas Philippine opened since just last July. I helped him shipped most of furniture and decoration, lighting, tableware and bed linen for the resort, for that reason he and his wife asked several times that I should come for a visit....

So, finally I decided that my assistant and I will come there for 2 days during public holiday in Vietnam by end of this month, after that we will stay one day in Manila to discover because it will be the first time for me to come to Manila.

Is there anyone in Manila here could recommend for me the best things to do in Manila for 1 day? I searched a bit on google but I think it will be interesting to know from other people here (if any) too.

maybe u should look for this place.. Makati City, one of the safe place to stay in Manila..and hey be careful, i am from Philippines but i am no longer to live there..good luck and enjoy..have a safe day and vacation..wine wine

If you only have one day, I suggest driving around and sight seeing! Manila is nice, I was there briefly. I believe that country became well known for their envelopes and folders!

Mimi all I can say is be careful. But yes, Makati which is nearby is a good and safe place. Most foreigners' business capital are there. Cleaner and safer.

Now go to Luneta Park. It is still a nice romantic place.

Baguio..500 miles north of Manila if you have time...beautiful..Google..it..

@mimi, you can explore the ocean,kayaking, or simply boat riding in that resort alone. If you're into night life, then check into the different live houses or music bars in Makati area, quite pricey but safer. And pls don't go alone. If you're into shopping, you can try the different dept stores in Makati or the different food shops. Who knows, you'll find a Filipino Crocodile. And check out the native Filipino furniture. They do look very nice but pricier. Have a pleasant trip and always watch over your belongings.heart wings bouquet

Thank you everyone. The trip may can't be made because my assistant said her passport may not ready for buying the ticket on time for the trip. Anyway, thanks for all the advice, I will take for next time then.
