Firestop on car?
In your country, is there any regulation from the government that you think its such silly and stupid? If yes, what is that? Could you share on here?In my place, gornverment has just applied new regulation that from 6th Jan, 2016, ALL cars from 4-9 seaters have to carry a firestopper to save the car in case of fire!
It makes BIG arguments here! Most ideas said this is the most stupid thing ever because Vietnam has tropical weather, it quite normal that temperature in the car which parks under the Sun at midnoon time can go up to over 60 C degree, for this, the fire stopper may be explored like boom and it becomes dangerous. And in case of fire, people believe that what we should do is to run fast far from the car as much as possible instead of try to save the car. Moreover the small fire stopper can't help.
What do you think about this? I would love to know ideas of people from different country on this subject so I appreciated if you share with me what you think about this.
Thank you and have a nice day!

As you write the can is too small to be of any value. Also the issue becomes, what kind of fire is it? A small CO2 extinguisher may work well for some burning paper or a smoldering car seat, but it would be useless for a large gasoline fire, or a burning metal fire. If your fire is under your hood, just turn the engine off and leave. No hand held extinguisher (least of all that one) contains enough extinguishing material to put out an oily engine and plastic fire that started under the hood. If a dashboard short started the fire, again the extinguisher will be useless simply because the fire is shielded by the dashboard and the short is still going on (getting worse too as insulation burns).
They'd never sell the near-useless things without government coercion!
I'm sorry but your government is currupt because that fire stopper would not save a fly there just try to make more money the government, they should issue free safety tips on how to prevent fire and escape plans.
your blog was interesting and a enlightenment to read thank you
But one the oddest laws is in the UK where it's illegal to die in the house of commons, this is treason because being a royal palace you'd be entitled to a state funeral, interestingly the UK abolished the death penalty for all but cases of treason, therefore were you die in the house of commons you would be liable for the death penalty
Do you think that is a good idea? :)
Let be optimistic that way to live in this world then!
