A follow-up of my kitten blog
Once I posted a picture blog about cute unknown kitten who lived under our building, Somebody recently saw it and then judged me as a heartless person as I didn't give him a 'shelter'
But do you think as a cat who was born in nature and healthy, do need to be rescued? He never worried about his foods, as loving people offered it to him each day. he never worried about no ground to play. Cos around his nature 'shelter' there are many trees and lands for him to play. Even he could easily to play with our human as well. I meant making friends with us.
As we all know cats are freedom loving creatures.In this case, why I must limited his freely personality in my small room ? He followed me upstairs just for his delicious kitten food I special bought for him but not his shelter, there are so many stray cats live in our community,rarely like this kitten so good at interaction with people and not afraid of us, as a wild cat, it's amazing for me.
And he was a naughty cat also, sometimes he liked to make a trick which made me laughing from heart. When I back if I saw him ,I opened the gate and invited him to come with me, he ignored me looked like a deaf, but when I walked half upstairs up, he suddenly appeared beside me.It's he slipped into the auto-gate just at the last second before the gate closed. He was always win.
So I let him came and went as he wish. He belonged outside. That's the best way for his life. He needed time to learn how to survive in nature. Now he was gone in silent,no one knew where he been, but we still talked about him sometimes, hope he'v found his new home. cos I knew many people liked him... He is still a special one in my eyes.
Now the heartless wants to sleep,

I see you are from Shanghai. My son is flying there tonight from Germany. He has to work for maybe 2 months and will be stating in that fancy hotel with sky high pool . Do you know it ? It will be his first time in China and he's a bit apprehensive.
Can you recommend places to see and where people speak English ?

Cats may be Human's oldest companion. There is debate as to whether or not the title belongs to the dog or the cat. For both skeletons 5,000 years old have been found buried with their human companions. Once upon a time it became a partnership thing, a thing of mutual trust. Each caring for the other. The dogs chased the wolf and tended the flocks and in return we fed it and it slept by the fire when it was cold and the Man and the dog talked. The cat killed the mice and rats that infested our granaries, and in return we let it sleep by the fire and fed it. And of course the cats love to snuggle with those they love and to play with our children (or us too) and some talk to us and alert us when something is wrong. Trust and caring, a two way street.
This is much better than the so called human animal love, which is often unnatural and against the nature of a creature.
Not to talk about what man kills and eats and produces under such horrible conditions.
Indeed u opened my eyes that the human will and care is not always best for domestic animals...
Yea,I 'd like to do that as you said , but not now, I share 1 room with my old dad. so it's a bit difficult,besides,not sure dad like it or not...
One of my neighbours cat who was treated well at their home,but he liked to go out at night,even out for fighting ,he could open the door himself,didn't know how he can came and went from their 2th floor,at last never came back again,maybe he found a new home outside. We do hope so.
It's so nice your son comes to Shanghai at this gloden September , welcome! and let him don't worry about anything he will love here quickly. Shanghai is a friendly, open city... double language used in many public places. Wish he has a wonderful time with his work and life.

There are many stay cats around us, some people offer their food and water at the proper time each day. They are lazy to catch mouse, and happy with their free life like that and keep distance from us. A family cat is different, it's according the situation, all in all a big place for them to active. But I haven't so I only keep a turtle and fish...
I loved his "special trick".
