For example, on Essiac I found sites stating there were no legitimate studies showing its effectiveness and that there were side effects. Here is one from Wikipedia, and it is not the only one.
Unfortunately its hard to know what to believe, as society is motivated by greed and not compassion. There is no question many would sacrifice a human being for the almighty dollar.

The second link is kinda ridiculous...about the graviola, this is a very healthy fruit, I grew up eating it back home in Philippines but the info there states that eating the fruits could lead to movement disorders similar to Parkinson
