Swiss Spaghetti Farmers...
...are expecting to reap a bumper crop this year. One of the upsides of Global Warming/Climate Change is the unbelievable effect it's had on spaghetti growth.
This has been especially noticeable in the Alpine spaghetti growing districts of Switzerland, which have experienced unprecedented record spaghetti harvests in recent years.
On a more somber note, there is serious concern that new GMO spaghetti varieties may affect the quality and nutritional value of spaghetti.
Spaghetti farming is now almost totally mechanized.
This old news clip shows how the harvest was accomplished by simpler more traditional methods.
Today, these time honored traditions are observed by only a very few basically hobby spaghetti farmers.

From what I see in the vid, it almost looks like it grows on trees, but may not actually be part of the tree.
Something like how Spanish Moss grows in the Southern U.S.
Truth to tell, I'm speculating on that...just the way it looks in the vid, IMO.
YouTube Spaghetti Squash
I'm not sure these New World spaghettis are even at all related to the European varieties.
Here ya go...
Yes. The quality of the spaghetti is much(!) better if it is harvested in the early morning.
It shouldn't absorb too much UV radiation immediately prior to the drying process.
Or something like that.
Under Trumps' watch...death to bees and then...no crops...
I think it is afraid they'll remove an e and turn it into a sed
I'm almost certain spaghetti squash will not cross with European varieties.
Probably on account of that e thing like you said.
But it just seems like that is the way the spaghetti world is going nowadays
Monsanto will save the bees. And us!
YouTube How Monsanto Keeps Bees Buzzin'
And at some point they'll develop their own specialized (patented) strain of bees uniquely bred to thrive on their herbicide & GMOs.
And of course you'll only be able to get their (patented) bees to pollinate their (patented) plants protected by their (patented) herbicides.
But it's O.K. They're only doing it for the betterment of humankind.
There only aim is the betterment of mankind and the environment. With no thoughts whatsoever of profit.
If only there were more global corporations like that.
I shsll start a new Monsanto for Nobel Prize campaign
I'm down with that, Mol-dog!
I second Monsanto's nomination for a Nobel Prize!
I further propose the creation of a new category of Nobel Prize -
"The Betterment of Humanity and Environment with no thought whatsoever of profit prize".
