If you are one of them? CONGRATS!

We were the strong ones from the 50s ... 60 ... 70
First of all, we survived a normal birth,
with mothers who smoked, and drank
during their pregnancy.

They took aspirins, ate vinaigrette sauce,
mayonnaise and desserts and they were
not tested for diabetes or cholesterol.
And after that trauma we were put
to sleep on our stomach in children's beds
dyed with beautiful shiny lead paint. There were no child locks on the doors
and when we drove by bike we had
basketball hats and no helmets.

As a baby or child we ride along
on mother's lap
in cars without belts,
nor high chairs or inflatable cushions. Sitting in the box of a van, or on the horse of Farmer Zutter, on a sunny day, was always a very special experience.

We drank well water or water from the tap
and no water from a plastic bottle.

We ate tarts, white bread, real butter,
bacon with eggs and beech nuts
and walnuts that were already on the ground.
We drank hot chocolate
with real sugar in it.
We did not suffer from obesity.
WHY ?

Because we always played outside.
Therefore!!
We left the house early in the morning
to cycle to school
(there were then no mothers who could bring us by car),
or to play all day in the fresh air
and this on condition that we
were at home in the evening.
(or when the street lights started to burn)
Our parents did not know where we were going.
We did not have a mobile phone but we had not experienced Dutroux yet.We had "dirty clothes to play"
and "clean clothes" to visit.

We needed hours to make our play equipment ourselves.

We had no
Playstations, Nintendos, X-box, iPod etc.
There were no video games,
no 150 TV channels, no videos or DVDs
no stereo chains.

For 18 hours you only looked at the 'test image'
There were no computers or internet.
WE HAD YET FRIENDS
and we went outside to play with them. We felled out of trees, cut us,
broke an arm, leg or a tooth from time to time.
We "picked" apples and pears,
and there were no legal prosecutions to
blame for that.
If we were caught,
then we got a beating and
at home we wisely kept our mouth shut.We got a big bike for our 12th birthday, played with sticks like sword, a lid of the rubbish bin as a shield, catapults, slings, bow and reed arrows with a large nail in front ...
We made old knives, good throwing knives and practicing us on a tree trunk or an old bird peck target from the cafe.
Although we were told
that we could lose our eyes
or hurt ourselves with those things
, we all survived.

We drove by bike or went on foot
to the home of a friend and just
walked past behind.
We were very welcome and sometimes joined the table for lunch.
The idea that our parents sent us out of prison
to get, was absurd, that just did not exist.
They were with and for the law, and with the teachers.
If we got a punishment at school
, we got another extra punishment at home!

Our generations have produced some of the best entrepreneurs, thinkers and inventors
of all time and from all over the world.
These years brought an explosion of novelties and new ideas.

We had the freedom to try, the fear of failure, the success and the responsibility
that went with it.
We have learned to control that
and to deal with it.
If you are one of them?
CONGRATS!

cheers

Women and men..... Karma....

Who knows whether all those stories about bad Karma are true or not? In my case, I'm thinking there just may be something to it. But whatever, I wondered if the Karma deal might apply differently to men and women. Not so much just because the sexes are so different in so many ways. But because we often think, feel and act differently. So maybe out Karma accounts differ.

. Do not try to judge

When you condemn others, you actually condemn a piece of yourself. We often condemn those qualities that we so hate in ourselves. Features that make us who we are.thumbs up ............

You will regret if you do not tell your children

.................... You will regret if you do not tell your children Everything you try to achieve, whatever someone else is trying to achieve in this world, begins with trying. Everything!
If you run into adversity, and that will happen, it does not mean you have to give up. The writer JK Rowling was refused by 12 publishers, before one wanted to publish Harry Potter. Millions of children had almost missed out on the chance to get to know the magical world of this young wizard. But fortunately she also continued in adThe most important thing is that you believe in yourself. A good self-confidence ensures how good you think you are in different things. Between three and eight years, self-confidence is at a peak. It is therefore important to recognize a child, encourage things to try and offer different possibilitiesA negative attitude makes life more difficult
Spending your entire life complaining is not good for anyone. Change ¨ I must 'for ¨ I want. As a parent you always have a choice. You can choose your attitude to the life and choose what you choose to reflect on your children. Research shows that a positive attitude makes you smarter and healthier.Stop worrying too much
Ask yourself: Is this something that I can do something about or not?
If the answer is yes, do so.
If the answer is no, release it.
This is something you really have to remember as a parent. Children are not stupid and feel when you worry Stay child
Being childish at times is healthy. All that fun does not have to stop if you are 30 and have an office job. You can still roll in the grass, eat cake for breakfast and do a 'happy dance' if you're happy. As a parent you naturally love your child. But there comes a day when you are no longer there to give that love. One of the most important things you can teach your child is good self-esteem / knowledge. This is defined as: "Having the feeling that you are worth something, even if you disregard all titles, performances and financial status". Someone with a good self-esteem is often regarded as someone who is stable, accepting and friendly.

Giving your child a chance of good self-esteem creates an effect in which a child takes better care of himself when it comes to things like sleep, nutrition and general health. It could also mean that a child is better at setting limits for other people. It makes it easier to process life events in a balanced way, without taking too much responsibility on her / his own shoulders.

Just take the time to read, at the end you understand why.

A little sweet girl stood under a canopy.
She had just gone shopping in the supermarket with her mother.

She will have been about 6 years old, this beautiful
red-haired freckled image of innocence. It rained outside.
You know, that kind of rain overflows and drainage pits flooding,
so rushed to hit the earth, that it did not have time to
put the beam a bit softer.
We were all under this awning at the entrance of the supermarket.
We wait, some patiently, others 'irritated',
because nature had messed up their hasty day.

I am always a bit dreamy when it rains.
I disappear in the sound and in the face that the sky washes away the dirt and
dust of the world. Memories of 'running and splashing' as a 'child', playing so carefree
in your thoughts, as a welcome break from a past day with
worries and stress ...

Her voice was so beautiful when it interrupted the hypnotic trance
we all were trapped. Mama, let's run through the rain," she said.
"What?", Asked Mom.
"Let's run through the rain!" She repeated.
No darling. We wait until it gets a little less, Mama answered.

The child waited another minute and repeated,
"Mommy, let's run through the rain."
"We get drenched when we do that," Mama said. No, we will not, mama. That's not what you said this morning,
"the girl said as she pulled her mom's arm.

"This morning? When did I say that we could run through the rain and
not get wet? "

The girl said quietly: "Do not you remember that?
When you talked to dad about his cancer, you said,
"If we come through this together, we'll get through everything!
"Everyone was suddenly silent.
I swear you did not hear anything but the rain.

We were all dead silent.

The next few minutes nobody came and no one left.

Mama thought about what she would answer for a moment.
Some would laugh at it or make fun of it.
Some would even ignore what they said.
But this was a moment of affirmation in a child's life.
A moment of innocent trust, that when fed and
cared for, will flourish in faith in the good things and the hope of life. "Honey, you're right. Let's run through the rain.

If it should be like being wet from above,
well, then maybe we just needed a wash, "Mama said.

There they went.

We all stood there watching and laughing, as they moved forward
jumps through the cars, and yes, through the puddles.
They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They were drenched.
But they were followed by a few others who shouted and laughed
as children on their way to their cars.

And yes, me too. I ran and got wet. I also needed a wash.

Circumstances or people can take away your money, your material possessions and your
health.
But no one can ever take away your precious memories ...

Do not forget to make 'time' and to take the opportunity to
make memories every day.
For everything and for every purpose under the sky there is a season and a time.

Save the sunny days for the dark moments.

This is a message to remind us of life
and values ??in life ...

Together a glass of wine, a fresh beer, a cozy BBQ among neighbors
and friends, a terrace, enjoying the daily things,
and a bit of humor ... I hope you appreciated it.

I HOPE THAT YOU ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME

TO RACE THROUGH THE RAIN.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them,
but a lifetime to forget them. ...............
