Jim's Superbowl contest blog.

This is just for fun, not for money. Sorry to disappoint those who worship money.
Here's the deal. You get 100 points for picking the winner of the game.

Your choices are either the Kansas City Chiefs, or the San Francisco 49ers.

Plus, you get up to 60 points for picking the number of points scored by the Chiefs
and up to 60 points for picking the number of points scored by the 49ers.
So, the maximum of points you could get is 220.
However, you lose 1 point for each point the actual final score for that team
is from the score you predicted for that team. So, if you predict the Chiefs will score 24 points and they score a total of 30 points, you would get 54 points for that part of your guess.

So, lets say you pick the 49ers to win by the score of 27 to 16
and the 49ers do win, but by the score of 31 to 12.
You would get the 100 points for picking the correct winner, plus (60 - (31 - 27)) + (60 - (16 - 12)) = 212. It would be very difficult to end up with no points, unless you don't put in your guesses.

To play you get one chance to place your guesses. No changes scold
Your guesses must be placed before this Sunday at 6 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time).
The actual kickoff of the game is at 6:30 pm EST.

Whoever has the highest total score will be crowned 2020 CS Superbowl Champion until next year
and I will post the hierarchy of the CS finalists scores on this blog after the game is over.

Good luck cheers

Slappy New Year!

Gotta love the Russians! The only drawback is that the loser will almost certainly walk away 'butt-hurt'.

Oh right, there seems to be a new blogging style here where you post the first comment to your own blog.

Scripted Professional Sports... IT'S REALITY!!!!

CS: I have recently got into watching a lot of You Tube. I checked out several people speaking on the "Rigged" and/or "Scripted" NFL. I've been trying to convince this fact to my diehard Cowboy fan brother for 20 plus years.
Those who can't fathom this being reality... Too Bad!!!! Just Like the WWE, It's ENTERTAINMENT!

Thank you for all the comments. peace

DRONEon episode 7...

I'm listed with the Federal Aeronautic Administration (FAA) and the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) to fly drones and model aircraft. I get email updates all the time for new laws (good and bad) about recreational flying. Checking this morning I see on the FAA website some new changes will go into effect for 2020.
Okay, I'll have a look and downloaded the document to see it's a 462 page PDF.
Thanks, but not today!

Flying this weekend is totally shot in Palm Beach County as the president is hanging out at his Mar-a-Lago resort until the new year. I'm sure all the model aircraft pilots who had plans to fly at the county approved site are out doing other things as the field is closed, as in totally locked out. It's so bad they cannot hang out at the pit to BS and BBQ under the tin roof canopy! How's that for a kick in the arse?

Anyway, there is some possibly good news listed for low altitude authorization to recreational flyers... I guess I'll have to read the document.

Locked it up ! Locked it up !

Congratulations to the Washington Nationals & their fans. cheers

At one point in the 2019 season, the Nationals' records was 19 wins & 31 losses.
There was much talk about the manager being fired then.
Yet, tonight the Nationals won the World Series 7th & deciding final game with the score of 6 to 2,
winning the championship.

It's the first time the Expos/Nationals franchise has EVER won the World Series.
It was also the first time the visiting teams won all 7 games, something that never happened in
MLB, nor NBA.

The Nationals Juan Soto was the youngest player to hit 3 home runs in a World Series
and the only player to hit one at age 20 and one at age 21 in the same World Series
(He had a birthday during the series).

Except for the terrible umpiring regarding the inconsistent strike zone, it was a terrific series complete with some excellent defensive plays. thumbs up

Mexican F1 Grand Prix.

Brit Hamilton wins, with German Vessel second. Mercedes' 100th as constructor. I'm entering my Green 1994 Mitsu 3000GT as the Maine coastal self pissing grand dad's first GP attempt next week in Austin, Texas. We'll carve up that sissy Mr. Hamilton and his girly 230MPH Mercedes. Stay tuned.
