Yep! December 23. That most sacrilegious and sarcastic of all Holidays (anti-holiday ) has rolled around once again!

This relative newcomer to the Holiday Season was sprung upon an unsuspecting public during a 1997 episode of Seinfeld. Since then, it has gained popularity among the jaded, those fed up with commercialization, seeking to ritualize family dysfunction...or simply looking for yet another reason to party.

Or eat cupcakes.

So c'mon, y'all party animals! Set up your Bare Aluminum Festvus Pole (I find tinsel distracting)! Burn the hell out of the traditional Ketchup-Glazed Meatloaf! Gather friends & family near to you - for The Airing Of The Grievances Engage one another in the Feats of Strength And remember the Festivus Rule - IT AIN'T OVER 'TIL THE HEAD OF THE HOUSE IS PINNED TO THE GROUND!

What sort of Festvus Miracles might we expect THIS year? :

Okay..There were some Toys they advertised on T V when I was young....Some where what you wanted to get(But you never did)..Why?..(Always in trouble somehow)...But there was one Toy they hyped up Big Time....."It Walks down the Stairs!"..."It Walks down the Stairs!"...Thats all it did....."Within Days it was thrown in the Corner....Yeah...."Slinky"...Was a complete waste of Money.....................

Im sure there are alot of people who have had an experience or two.....With things that didnt make sense........"Something you couldnt find(And you searched high and wide but could never find)..And then one day...Its right there in plain sight.......or you were thinking about someone(And you dont know why)..And suddenly..."There they are"..............Or that Time you know for a fact you put that light out(And now its on)............

There are a lot of sayings in this world...And out of all of them Theres one that sticks out ..Far above all the rest of them.....And Standing Alone..Is the Most Dreaded Saying of them all...The Most feared of the Feared.........And that saying is...."Its A Thin Line Between Love And Hate"....."Oh..Oh So True......................

I use to work with this guy who would always end is conversations with saying,,,do you know what I mean.. have you noticed when watching commercials on tv that have these bad jingles that after a while you start singing or humming them yourself...well here it goes,,,do you know what I mean,,,

Ho! Ho, Ho,Santa is here Do you have a wisrh?
who knows it may be granted

I can't believe it, I don't get it, can't find an answer, I don't think is fair, what this? why me? do they have the right? trust no one, me or them, sandwiches from hen?

One of these days, one of these days...boom!

I realize a top 10 list might leave you somewhat unsatisfied and unfulfilled.

Thus, I prodded and prodded, really put some true stamina in here.

First of all..Right off the bat.."I dont like Christmas"...I am forced to buy something for some people that I absolutely dispise.....Yeah..My hard earned money has to go to buy that Blood Sucking lazy Useless piece of humanity a Present(Once a year is too much)..And when its "Visiting Time"..I have to act as if hes such a wonderful guy (Shaking hands and all that crap)..And then have to sit there and open up a present that will have 3 pairs of Socks in it(Just Swell)..Oh Yeah..And after you open the "Present"...You have to say those unavoidable words....."Oh Thank you".."Just What I Needed"....Its at these times that One wishes he/She was an Orphan........As soon as I get there Im waiting til its time to get the Hell outta there.....What a bunch of crap we have to do on Christmas....I hate to be seen carrying Presents all wrapped up with a stupid card on it with the "Beloveds Name On It"......And the biggest disaster that can strike a guy like me is the dreaded sound of...."Would you like to stay for Dinner?"......Let Me Outta Here!!!!!!!....And in a lot of cases..People are acting out the whole show(And when they get outside and in the Car they say..."I thought wed never get out of there"...I was forced to go once by my Mother who said I must go so that way "It Keeps the Peace"...."To Hell with the Peace!"..."Frig the Peace!".......And sometimes when your there you have to meet "Cousins Joes New Girlfriend"...And as you see her you think to yourself.."What a Beaut she must be in a Bathing Suit!".....Im sure theres families that are just like "The Waltons".......Not Mine.....Im thrilled that Christmas is only Once A Year........If it was more than that?...I would commit Suicide......(Maybe get a cord wrapped around my neck too)................."Merry Christmas!"............. .......
