Knowing all that CAN be does not mean you know the specific detail choosen. That is to say that you may know all the possible answers to anything and everything yet you may not know what someone of free will will decide upon until they have decided it.
For example.. if a person is standing in an ice cream shop we can say we all know they will 1) buy an ice cream 2)rob the sotre 3) not buy anything 4) buy something other then ice cream 5) use the bathroom...etc etc the list goes on and on... but until that individual makes the specific choice we do not know what that choice will be. So it is possible to know all things and yet not know the specific choice that will be made by a specific individual... hence my babbled thought above. :)
"You give your kid at most a year and a half to learn walking and another 16 years to become grown up and take responsibility.
I have given you some million of years here and still you came asking 'Father, can I have this?', 'Father, can I have that?', 'Father, are we there yet?', 'Father, my friend is laughing at me, make them stop`', 'Father, please help me loose weight', 'Father, please make peace' and the worst of all 'Father, do you really exist?'....
camog: He wouldnt say anything lads cos as we all know god is a woman lol ::
That was on my list of questions for him.
"Why do people assume his gender to be male?"
Confusing. Some denominations take that so seriously that they refuse to acknowledge Mary at all. They feel she has no place in it and is not to be considered divine.

krimsa, "He" is simply used for easy reference for the divine Creator. Most people realize this. I suppose most people want to have a story of the origin of Jesus and so a book was given to explain and appease people's curiousity and offer explanations for their existence. They apparently made it quite interesting for it has been read and been around for a very very long time.
Actually, Jesus, (if one believes in Him) gave very good explanations about the world, here, the lack of importance of the body and about our Spirit.
So, take what you want of it and leave the rest. :)
(jmo, Mary - if she is real - would have been integral in this story if she did, indeed, give birth to Jesus. and probably would seem to be devine, also.)

Well wouldn’t you say that is significant? To speak of a being which in your own words is simply referencing a "lack of importance of the body and about our Spirit."
The rest of your remarks are dealing with Jesus which is not what I asked and is clouding the issue. I am speaking of Yahweh. Historically, culturally, and archeologically speaking, the first religions of humanity tended to place female in the center role as "divine" due to the fact that female mammals give birth and are responsible for "creation." Why do you think the pagans resisted the concept of a singular male deity for a very long period of time?

I don't care. The past is past. What are you doing right 'now'? Is it peaceful?
