I'd love to see more channels like that. Yes, I think it would be heartening for many, unlike the normal news. I admit, because it's depressing and full of so much bad news, I don't watch the news on TV, nor read the paper. I find out what I need to know from everyone else.

I spend many hours in solitude (check my presence on-line, I tell you ...)
Reading the ordinary papers, news and channels often makes me feel a buzz in my head, gloomy days and people staring back at me with only despair as a message.
But each time I turn my focus south, the tune change, there on the other side of the water they seem to be looking for the good stuff to bring a little sun to the garden.
Then I found this news-site, and it was confirmed - they may not be better off then us up here, but how they see their day in spite of all madness around them, impresses me.

Exactly like that, if a dream was let to come true for once.
Until then, could they just not suppress the bad stuff for news at noon, so we at least were let to live in a pink, happy ignorance for just a wee while ?

Now, how about having one of those for each country, so we can get a respite now and then from reading all the sulky, grey and depressing news we get fed today.
Maybe it would even calm down one or two to know that some things are actually upward in this life?

That's great to hear. Hope it lasts. There have been attempts at having a good news program in the past. Ratings were so low, it had to be dropped. It seems the masses tend to gravitate towards, and feed on, gloom, doom, and disaster

I must say they have a serious approach (eg. no hippie approach), and this thing with internet makes the overhead so much smaller.
I think, on-line, it could easily be a hit.

Brilliant idea! A news channel only showing good news! Very much needed here in Sweden. I'd suspect there would be no weather report on this good news channel in Sweden...
