I have always baked. Cookies, pies, cakes and puddings oh lets not forget the candies. Now, when I need to bake I take it to work. I saw a great recipe for our next potluck.
Snuggs09: HotRod, your profile says women only up to 50.
Could you make an exception. I'll cook for you and shine your Harley. I'll even help you build the house.
I need you HotRod
Don't get excited fellow posters. I'm just having fun with him. He's in Missouri, way too far for a New Jersey girl, but he sure is cute
That sure is a sweet offer, But if got got a hold of me one time, you would think that the mouse was chasing the cat I think I should stick to my 50 tho
USThumper: Sorry, we didnt mean to depress you. We were just joking. Im sure the right man is out there somewhere for you
Thumper, I'm kidding. I swear. I was just having fun with all you guys and figured HotRod was reading it all so I thought I'd make him squirm. That's the devil in me. You didn't depress me at all.

HotrodLarrys: I really didnt want to tell anyone, that I can cook , They start to expect it
This is true. I cook a lot and those I cook for won't ever try to make those dishes for themselves, they always want me to make them. I make a wide variety of dishes and use just about every method to make them. Stove top, grill, dutch oven, open fire, wok, smoker...to name several. While I can bake, I rarely do... Ladies, any takers that are bakers?
All this talk of food and I just realized it's 15 minutes after 10pm and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. So, being the gourmet cook that I am, I just went to the kitchen and whipped up a little something to satisfy my hunger and it was virtually effortless.
The instructions are quite easy to follow:
Unfold bag and place in center of microwave, THIS SIDE UP. Set microwave on high for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on wattage. Listen carefully. Stop microwave when popping slows to 1 to 3 seconds between pops or you smell scorching.
Voila! Bon appetit!
Actually, I'm a very good cook, but generally don't cook for myself often, unless I'm craving one of my favorite dishes. One specialty is my Chicken Divan, another is my baked eggplant with tomatoes and onions, and I do make some very nice soups and pasta dishes.
