I have always baked. Cookies, pies, cakes and puddings oh lets not forget the candies. Now, when I need to bake I take it to work. I saw a great recipe for our next potluck.

DazzleYou: I bake and cook. I am a whiz with the grill and love to work various combinations.

My favorite to cook other than steak or ribs is probably my Italian grilled flame kissed chicken with baked sweet potato, asparagus, and other fixins.

Doc, when you get stronger, I'll make it a point to come over for dinner!!! thumbs up Not sure what we'll have for dessert yet though. devil

But you can keep the asparagus. barf

HotrodLarrys: I really didnt want to tell anyone, that I can cook , They start to expect it

This is true. I cook a lot and those I cook for won't ever try to make those dishes for themselves, they always want me to make them.
I make a wide variety of dishes and use just about every method to make them. Stove top, grill, dutch oven, open fire, wok, smoker...to name several. While I can bake, I rarely do...
Ladies, any takers that are bakers? wave laugh wink

All this talk of food and I just realized it's 15 minutes after 10pm and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. So, being the gourmet cook that I am, I just went to the kitchen and whipped up a little something to satisfy my hunger and it was virtually effortless.

The instructions are quite easy to follow:

Unfold bag and place in center of microwave, THIS SIDE UP. Set microwave on high for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on wattage. Listen carefully. Stop microwave when popping slows to 1 to 3 seconds between pops or you smell scorching.

Voila! Bon appetit!

Actually, I'm a very good cook, but generally don't cook for myself often, unless I'm craving one of my favorite dishes. One specialty is my Chicken Divan, another is my baked eggplant with tomatoes and onions, and I do make some very nice soups and pasta dishes.
