I did it by eating small meals. I ate carbs, I tired to cut them out, but I was tired without them. It worked I used to be 324 pds.

I've found jogging to be most effective. It's not as exhausting as running, but you get more out of it than walking.

That in conjunction with a good diet, works wonders.

Or you could do it the extremely hard way and eat nothing but celery. You burn more calories digesting celery than what the celery actually provides. Good Luck!

OK, to be serious, the best way to do it is through moderate exercise and eating a healthy, low-fat, high-fiber diet. Avoid junk foods, and eat more fruits and vegetables, grains, and lean, white meats and fish. Get most of your protein from vegetables, legumes (beans), and nuts. It takes time to lose it all, but it's better to lose it slowly than quickly. This is a change in lifestyle for life, not a fad diet that means you'll gain it all back. You will also be healthier and have a better chance of avoiding things like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and illness in general.

Run, jog, or walk is up to the individual. I prefer either fast walking on a track or trail walking because it's easier on the joints, and that's important at my age. My joints won't take running or jogging now. Lifting weights at least once a week is also recommended for bone health.

thumbs up Way to go, Pub! I've also lost some weight, and slowly continue to lose more. I'm not in it for the fast burn, but the long haul to better health.

an average male requires 2500 calories per day so if you could stick to in and around this figure it will be your starting point, cut down on rubbish food and try to eat foods which contain high protein such as meat, fish, eggs, nuts and whey protein.

To burn calories you must exercise walking, jogging, swimming, cycling and other physical activity are all forms of cardio exercise.
Yoe should also do some weight training, free weights are good such as dumbellsand bench presses.

The cardio exercise and the weight training will burn calorieswave

Take a blender and put 1 to 2 cups of oatmeal in it. Then a banana or two. Maybe frozen raspberries, blueberries etc. Cranberry juice is great. Soy milk. Whatever else you want. Blend it up and pour it into a 52 ounce cooler cup with ice and drink it all day. That works great!
