He had issues, no doubt - but, abusing a child wasn't one of them.

I was so sad when I heard this, for several reasons.
I grew up with his music, had many amazing nights boogy ing away to him, and it underlined the 80s in particular to me. So, it made me realise how time marches on.
He was a performing genius, whatever other issues were going on in his life, and he should be remembered purely for what he achieved in this regard.

My dear, it was close to 25 million that he paid to the child to not testify in a criminal court. It was a mere thousands. And the case wouldn't have been "drawn out for years" as you state, there was minimal testimony. The powers of his cohersion can be seen on living with michael documentary by martin basjir.
Even just sleeping with a child who is not your direct next of kin, let alone cohersing that same child to share your bed, is highly inappropriate. I'm not going to go into whether he did or didnt molest boys. However, what the facts are, that we ALL know from that doco, shows he was far removed from what was reality, and appropriate behaviour and guilt driven manipulation.
Now debbie rowe comes out and says that she doesnt want the children, instead of saying they would b better staying with michaels parents, and announcing to the world that he was not their biological father, before telling the children, just stupifies me.
Also, there were too many enablers and shamans surrounding michael, thus this is why we are here talking about him today.
But Boy oh boy, i am going to miss his talent
