I do not like to go to the doctor's, but I have to every three mos. Every time it gets close to the day. I get sick my blood pressure goes up, and my sugar level spikes.
I am always afraid the he is going to find something wrong. Or a new condition.

I'm not sure I'm keen on the idea of him making love to me WHILE he takes care of my tooth. It could get confusing. He could say that he's going to pull it out and I could think he means something else, for example. Or, I could say "Don't stop!" and he could think I want him to keep scraping away in my mouth. And imagine the confusion if he tells me to open wide!But, he is indeed good looking. So maybe I'll just try to focus on him and not on the horrendous pain he will be causing me!

jlb684: Dentists. I have tackled many things in my life and have occasionally done some things that have surprised even myself (finding inner strength and resolve that I didn't know I had within me). But I have never gotten over my fear of the dentist. There is no other unpleasant situation that I avoid as I do going to the dentist. I returned early from a business trip last night because I have a broken tooth and I am in a considerable amount of discomfort. I've made an appointment to see a dentist tomorrow (he can't fit me in today). Now I am already feeling the anxiety. So I have the pain AND I have a bad case of nerves.
Any suggestions as to how to calm my anxiety while I wait this next 24 hours out?

I would go for the gas if I could get it here, but they don't do it as a general rule. I have had no luck finding a dentist who would give me some joy juice beforehand.
As an aside....I bet it WOULD be fun to have lunch with you!
