Yes, it’s a leading question with a certain air about it. As I’ve admitted before, I was used to ask the same question myself some time ago. Don’t do it anymore.
The other month I showed my direct boss what I’ve written and he was frankly impressed. He wasn’t the only to praise me, but he’s the only who really could understand it’s costs, value and elegance, as he was the main gold-digger at our salt mine before me. The more his approval was worth for me.
I think it’s the same with CS and couples. It’s not easy to find someone, and when you’ve managed you want to show your achievement for those who understand it’s costs and value.
And why, the hell, not?

It's the reason I don't post or read much anymore. I keep meaning to announce it somehow but often when I post it's like noone remembers me, noone says hi, makes me feel kinda awkward, so I don't. I thought I should start a 'success story' thread but then I was seriously worried noone would even acknowledge it.
Marti always says hi and she didn't know me as well as some of you. She must truly be a lovely person. Hi Marti!
And Guiri who I totally love, of course. Hey Guiri!!
Anyway......
The reason I stopped writing was that I met someone right here on CS last year and we got married about 2 weeks ago.
I thought I was pretty much hooked on CS too and I even sort of felt bad not having the time to write in the beginning but there it is - I wasn't hooked and if I wasn't crashing in my room with my ac, I probably wouldn't even be writing now.
Captain, just spotted this...if you "truly failed to see the point with it" then read the question again...it's crystal clear...everyone else seemed to understand it, ...

CaptainBeirutIII: Of course it's not serious. Not until they invent that thing they call aeroplane so that people can get to one another with at least a day. Not like now, where we have to get on a steamship, or ride on a horse.
There is no need to get sarcastic, Captain. You know I approve highly of your union (not that you need anybody's approval), as I know you love her a lot and she does care a lot about you, too. Those are the main ingredients of a successful relationship.
I was only referring to what is applicable to me. Naturally in the beginning, you have to see how it goes between the two of you and later on decide if you are ready to commit yourselves to a really serious relationship, which for me means living and sharing your life together with that someone special from day to day, together in a lovenest of your own.
But there has to be a point when that decision is made; otherwise, for me, and I repeat FOR ME, which means in my own opinion, I can never really be sure yet if he is THE ONE for me.
