Pretty simple Cosmik. Unless the words lead to the act. He also has the defense of opinion. That it was just opinion.
The same legal walls that far lefters used when they deep fried GWB and Palin this last year. Unless you want to have to two Consitutions and Bill of Rights....one for liberals and one for the rest of the country.
He has not incited the actual act. And it was just opinion.
Even in OReilly case. Where Tiller was murdered. Unless they have evidence to a connection that OReilly words directly incited the act. No can arrest/prosecute.
Evidence, one of those things...that works well in courts.

News isn't run by politics, they are run by advertising.
The more people who watch, the more money they make.
The media today is nothing but another business. Reporting facts has become distorted into reporting what makes cash.
It's why people really need to pay close attention to what's going on around them, and to not rely on what's being said on the televisions.
Truth does not come from channel 8. But opinion, conjecture and a grain of salt.

I, personally, will never watch Fox News.
I saw them slam Canada so badly that I was wild.
It turns out if you go to youtube you can see Tom Green on a 20 minute rant against Fox. I never saw anyone so wild on television.

i think we should be able to make some distinction between misleading/lying and instigating violence. while most news channels are guilty of being biased and misleading their viewers, FOX news is certainly guilty of promoting violence and hatred.

FOX doesn't really need to worry about all those troubles ttom500, because the 1-st amendment/freedom of speech is still intact. Therefore Fox can carry on with its business "as usual".

Glen Beck- "Day dreaming" on air about poisoning Nancy Pelosi
Granted FOX "News" is not really news at all since the were taken to court over the accuracy of their reporting and won the case by proving they were an "entertainment" network. So therefore, they didnt have to be at all accurate in their stories.
To what standard then are they held to be accountable? Should they be held to some kind of responsibilty?
Should O'Reilly be taken in and put on trial as the instigator of that murder?
Should the FBI and/ or Secret Service jail Beck for an obvious threat to her life and if someone does do her harm. Should he go to prison for that as well? Hell... FOX should have at least fired both of them for those incidents
