lookin4ubabe: Please....I only got testy with Alfalfa after he called me a parent that didn't care about my children because of my political choice...that is over and done! Every link you have given me is from a conservative site...every single one!!! When have I ever called you names or spoke to you about anything other than the issues? This whole post you just made is nothing but a personal attack. Furthermore, I am not emotional...I am passionate....big difference!!! I am part of the grassroots movement that is going to improve this country!!
And yet again, it's just too much for your sensitivities to read and learn from something beyond your same old spiel. Judging by this, you really have no interest in learning a differing viewpoint at all. A personal attack, eh? What about the personal attack you made on Alfalfa? Or does that not count because he has a differing opinion? Doesn't feel good when you dish it out but can't take it, now does it? I'll be willing to work with you if you keep that passion from overflowing. Passion is defined as what moves us, or it can get us killed. Too much passion can make one seen as immature and childish or insensitive to other's needs. If I seem condescending, I'll apologize, but only that's because both of my parents are psychiatrists. They've dealt with political nuts who never gave up until they died. And the nuttiness ensued down into their families and foundations. It's a nasty vicious cycle.
Just out of curiosity...How many tea parties and how many grass roots momvements have you attended if you are so concerned?
lookin4ubabe: Not one place in the bill does it say that illegal immigrants would be covered. Even John McCain and other Reps came out and said that today along with commenting how inappropriate Wilson's actions were!! I have concerns about the Bill too, but that's why would should come together and find a resolution instead of resorting to bashing and rudeness!!
I agree, it would be great if ideas could be blended and used and everyone could be happy.

I explained my personal attack on Alfalfa because he brought out the mama bear in me and he attacked me first. I am not proud of that but it happened!but I am pretty sure he can fight his own battles!! Nice that coming from a psychiatric background you call their patients nuts!! That is an terrible awful thing!! I would expect a little more compassion!! I am a member of the OFA..organizing for America...I have not attended any tea parties yet, but I have attended various other events!! I will also be working on the at a booth at our county fair, registering voters and addressing health care reform. I am involved with my students in a bi-partisan group where we discuss issues of both sides. I am from a predominately Republican community and have worked with many of them on bi-partisan issues concerning our community. I also volunteer for our local parks and rec center to help keep gangs off the street! I worked on the Obama campaign and registered local voters....ummmmm I am a member of national partnership for women & families which is also a bi-partisan organization!! Most of my work is bi-partisan...coming together is how we reach common ground!! If McCain would have won this election, you certainly would not see me bashing him!!! The country made it's choice!!
Well damn! How can I be pissed after that?? We all have our life experiences that make us who we are and make us fight for the causes we believe in, I am sorry for the things you had to go through and of course, let's put it behind us! Only respectful conversations from here on out...shake on it?
mnowsa: ok ladies...the catfight is over. now pls kiss each other and let the whole world know that you don't only know how to fight but also how to "love"

Good Night, mnowsa (every timeI see your name, I want to call you "mousie". I have no idea why? ).

feel free to call me anything dear..you can even call me mouse...i don't care..as long as you don't plot to chase me and hunt me down( i know ladies get scared of mouse)
what a strange world! one president gets to be called a "liar" for actually trying to help the poor people in this country while another president, who repeteadly lied to his people to invade another country in the name of freedom and security, gets to be called a "hero" and "patriot". One person is rewarded with donations/money for calling a president "liar" on his face, while some people get to be called "traitor" and "unpatriot" for trying to save lives and bring peace in this world.

After reading the OFA blogs, I am uncertain if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Honestly, I got the impression of radical extremists carrying out the will of Obama at all costs. Understand that I am not trying to sling mud at this movement or your participation within it, but personally, I could not ever support such an organization after what I had read in some of those posts. I could guess that the opposition is doing the exact same thing and I would not support them either. There's no such thing as playing nice in politics and it really is a shame.
as a resident of south Carolina. i have to say i,m so embarrassed. first we have a hypocrite for a governor. remember he was always on fox news preaching how godly he was. then we got Joe Wilson. who disrespected the president. people hated bush. but when he was up there telling us lies on Iraq. know one said anything. even through they should have.

GWB 2005 State of the Union.... House and Senate DEMs booed him. Agreed "boos" are not words, but still would fall into being disrepectful.
AnAngelAlways: I'm chuckling knowing what's going to be coming down on you very hard. You have been given good and truthful links, then refuse to read them because they don't match up to your infantile sensibilities. You downplay anyone who doesn't agree with you and you call people names. You have always been rude and condescending to Alfalfa and to anyone who doesn't roll over and kiss your backside. It doesn't feel very good now that you're getting the stuff that you dish out so freely, does it? Look at your very actions- you let your actions and emotions get the very better of you and you come off very childish at that. You will be treated the way that you act. If you can't handle it, then straighten up and behave like a proper adult. Because then and only then, will you be given any credibility at all.
As for your so called "republican" friends, don't pee on our legs and try to tell us that it's raining. I deal with your ilk all of the time and see the damage you wreak. Such a pity that you inflict your nastiness upon your children for them to see.
I suppose you would let your children read what you just wrote to another person, another American, under your user name...Tell me two things: In an earlier thread you were quite nastily insulting to a couple other people you disagreed with. Now you are doing it once again. Yet you say you are on this site because of the great friends you make. How do you make them with this nastiness? Also, which of the angels are you specifically? Certainly not any of the ones I learned in Sunday School. Except maybe the one who was cast out.
