langleygirl: For me dating any man would be a new tread!
I will admit that the idea of younger is becoming more appealing. I live in a college town where the average age is 22. The upside to younger is that for the most part they're carefree and not set in their ways. They also don't have alot of other obligations. Meaning less bills, less likely to have a psycho ex wife, less likely to have kids already...etc. Just makes things easier in that respect.
Not sure it's a trend I've been dating younger guys for many years now .. I've always said that it's hard to meet guys my age as they don't seem to go out much and if they do, they don't seem to want to approach you. Younger men though, seem to have a lot more confidence and I like that in a guy

I have loads of confidence, thank you............ and have no difficulty dating dear old ladies!
Maybe its me but if guys were saying they liked dating younger women, they get labelled 'Dirty Old Men' kinda double standards??
If it depends if your looking for a bit of fun or domething long term, and how big the age difference is. Was with someone 4 yrs who was considerable younger, felt great at first but when reality kicks in the majority of the time it doesn't work, if you are looking foe something long term

spot on morgan
I've never professed to be looking for a relationship with a younger man. In fact, I've never professed to be looking for a relationship fullstop until I got on here
But like so many, I've done the *married, had kids, a dog, white picket fence and smoke coming out of the chimney* thing and I'm probably not looking for someone for my kids to call Daddy

Yes, but most guys my age are ready to put a foot in the grave... and I am not... I am not overly comfortable with tooo much of a age gap though...Waiting to see what the universe brings me....

Me too, didn't set out looking for a younger guy just happened, if it had just been a fling would have been fine, but as time went on the differences in what we both wanted were huge. In hindsight not something i would repeat
