We need more details. Was it body odor or bad breath? If it was BO it could mean he was really nervous. It could also mean he is just a pig who doesn't bathe. If was bad breath, he may have bad gums or a rotten tooth/teeth. Was it garlic? Garlic smells even if you brush your teeth because it oozes through your pores.

I have developed a sensitivity to what I can only describe as an 'odour' on certain people. It is not normal BO. When working in a shop, I 'smelt' a lady as soon as she came in. I've tried to work out whether they are suffering from some sort of health problem, or maybe it's from medication.
When I 'smell' these people, I ask my colleagues/friends if they are aware of it - they are not. It makes me concerned about travelling on coaches/planes, as sometimes the odour is so strong to me, I cannot be next to these people.

It is absolutely unacceptable. Yet you get it down the line from top professionals to ordinary workers. These people just don't realise that smelling like a corpse is NOT ok, and stink whether it is sweat, mouth, or simply lack of general hygene is unacceptable and is not the body's natural pheromones.
I would turn down my date if she smelt....and you have to consider if she smells when she is still fully dressed up. just imagine what it is like when she takes her clothes off.....And one thing if she smells it is an indicator of bad personal hygene, not just the lack of perfume!

I went to get my oil changed and tires rotated on my car the other day at Walmart. When I went back out to my car to leave, it reeked! There is no way that the smell left in the car by the mechanic was BO....he had to have let one before he got out. My windows were rolled completely up, too. You think he did it on purpose? I don't know....the service at Walmart here lately is really starting to stink.
