My sons dad pretended he wanted to see my son, until child support people tried to garnish his wages; he quit his job the second they told him about the garnishment and has made no attempts to see my son..

You can keep your chin high with pride knowing you're doing the best you can to care for your babies on your own and they will appreciate you for it when you're all older. They will help YOU :). My 3 yr old started taking it upon himself to empty the garbages. It all starts with a little responsibility and a lot of love

I based the example on a case I know about through teaching refugees, No he didn't send money back to the UK because his job in Nigeria paid less than £5 a week, after his living expenses and the cost of sending the money to the UK he would have been sending back less than £1 a week. His wife told him in no uncertain terms that doing that was stupid and to spend the money on his extended family in Nigeria if he felt he couldn't spend the money on himself. Did this make him not a real man?

Thank you for this, encouragement helps; my kids are pretty good around the house, my kids always put aluminum cans in the recycle bin for me. Every few seconds they ask "mommy are you done so I can put that in recycle" So although I do it by myself I know it will be good for me in the end.

That is exactly what I was told too after mine abandoned us. He's right. Hold strong, have faith and miracles will show themselves to you when you least expect it to. They did for me today. My Mr. Somebody finally asked me to be his for good.
