Hey sweety
Hopefully the Pacific storms won't be that bad and that you get the much needed rain. I do have to say that I do miss those tropical Pacific storms that would usually roll in Jan/Feb...especially if it hadn't rain in months.

Medsummer09: it's all your fault Sandie...you did not have to bring it back from the UK with you!
Keep your head dry!
LOL! I didn't I promise. Everything will be worse Friday!!! More tornados, snow, hail, and tons of rain!!!!!!!!!On the bright side, things are turning green!!!! we see green here, maybe a month.........then all brown. hugs my friend!
How are the storms looking today Sandie? And how cold is it there in your neck of Socal? The storms went easy in the Bay Area, but there are more storms on the way. Sounds like a wild El Nino year. I remember the major one that hit in 97 or 98...wow.

Its hailing right now! this is day 6!!!The ground can't take it in anymore! We lost electricity all last night! Big Bear got 4-5 ft of snow in the last day or 2, no roads open going up or down, in fact you can't get around by car at all in town!
We had a high of 44 degrees F today, this is southern Ca!!

These days I hate turning on my TV in fear I’m going to see more disasters. My best wishes to all the people living over there.

so far lots of disasters ground level, only death I know of is when a tree landed on a car during a tornado, another thing we don't get here and there has been 4 in 2 days!
starshinebright: I posted that on FB a few days ago, its not let up!!! We had 80's last week.....44 is cold here for daytime....
I always made sure to visit my friends in SoCal anytime between December and February every year to escape the NorCal winter We always got temps in the high 50's/low 60's during that time---never 70's or 80's like down in SoCal. Well worth the 5-6 hour drive.
