from top of my head ARP cache is part of TCP stack and average user should not need to mess with that. Resetting modem and rebooting usually clears ARP cache.
OK this is absurd. It takes 5 minutes to load the home page during which time my pc is locked up, then it takes another 5 minutes to open the forums, again locking up my pc. I'm getting F__king sick of this. It makes me not want to come here. No other site does this. What gives? I used Ccleaner but this AM I saw that it went ahead and deleted everything again after I put back all the login info I wanted to keep, on it's own so I removed it. I really don't like programs that make decisions for me.

I just found this microsoft stuff Ooby but I wonder if it may be an idea to give your provider a quick call and ask the tech support people there

We are all having trouble here in Ireland espescially when we go to post a comment. I contacted CS about it but sadly I didn't warrant any reply or acknowledgement. Like I say, it's not just my pc, it's everyone.
trish123: Im inclined to think its a windows error myself Conrad - if it was the CS server wouldnt we all be having the same problem?
I think Conrad's computer got attacked by some alien virus.... in fact i believe Conrad is an alien virus, but I can't be 100% sure at this stage..... put it this way he OBJECTS to the new-fangled body x-ray thingy machines - what has he got to hide, i wonder...........

Nope,my Computer is "PERSIL",and well cared for. The Problem is intermittent,and mainly limited to CS. Sometimes I even get a Page saying:"Well Even The Best Site Has Technical Difficulties Now And Then",or something to that Effect. Definitely not stemming from Windows! But I am confident it will get ironed out,it always did.

Well, at least I'm glad to learn I'm not the only one having this problem. It sure seems like a server inadequacy. It would be nice if they threw a little message on the main page letting everybody know.
I had a problem also with my Computer,and i learned about Regcure,wich is now a free download at CNET.It really cleaned my computer and it is running like new again.I run it 1 day a week.Note; Regcure has only become freeware.I bought it 13 month ago.Great software.This should solve all your problems. javascript:emot('');

I have had similar problems both at home and at work. Firefox at home where I find if I use the back button the page returns. At work on explorer I get the message a tab was closed and rescued, but all of this only happens on this site.
