from top of my head ARP cache is part of TCP stack and average user should not need to mess with that. Resetting modem and rebooting usually clears ARP cache.

trish123: Wouldnt it be great if we could just use a usb to our own brains and use ccleaner on those clogged up 'issues'
laugh Sure would be,but I actually meant the 'Issues'-Feature in Ccleaner.
Messes with the Registry of your Computer.grin

OK this is absurd. It takes 5 minutes to load the home page during which time my pc is locked up, then it takes another 5 minutes to open the forums, again locking up my pc. I'm getting F__king sick of this. It makes me not want to come here. No other site does this. What gives? I used Ccleaner but this AM I saw that it went ahead and deleted everything again after I put back all the login info I wanted to keep, on it's own so I removed it. I really don't like programs that make decisions for me.

We are all having trouble here in Ireland espescially when we go to post a comment. I contacted CS about it but sadly I didn't warrant any reply or acknowledgement. Like I say, it's not just my pc, it's everyone.

Most of us are Trish.

If their server is incapable of the number of visitors, it needs upgrading.

We had this problem when I was a Moderator on a biker site, the owner got new servers and that cleared the mess.

Nope,my Computer is "PERSIL",and well cared for.
The Problem is intermittent, and mainly limited to CS.
Sometimes I even get a Page saying:"Well Even The Best Site Has Technical Difficulties Now And Then",or something to that Effect.
Definitely not stemming from Windows!
But I am confident it will get ironed out,it always did.conversing

Well, at least I'm glad to learn I'm not the only one having this problem. It sure seems like a server inadequacy. It would be nice if they threw a little message on the main page letting everybody know.

I have had similar problems both at home and at work.
Firefox at home where I find if I use the back button
the page returns. At work on explorer I get the message
a tab was closed and rescued, but all of this only happens
on this site.
