I think you have, in a way, accidentally stumbled upon the answer to your own question.
Statements such as there is no God but (insert religious deity here) are inflammatory and patently untrue.
Many see the wars between the releigious, big and small, between the religions and among those of the same religions ( protestants vs. catholics in Christianity, for example), and decide that a rejection of God and religion is indeed a rejection of a negative and destructive lifestyle, and therefore a rejection of God.
I myself, pretty much reject most organized religion in Christianity of which I am a member But I hold my faith nonetheless. It is ignorant for anyone though to believe that their God or their faith is the only one possible.

Many have, sadly, been banned for a few days by getting involved with him. I am one of them. His main problem is that he won't listen to others and only reads what he wants to read...see page 5 a thread called Islam Fobia and you will see how people pointed things out and he took them totally out of context and didn't read what was being said.
Just be very careful on what you say to him.

Jan...I concur with you, 100%.
I think the main bug bear with him is the consistent ramming down the throats of this sort of subject and the inability to LISTEN or READ what people are saying and taking it the way they were meant...and when things don't his way, he runs away or starts another inane thread..naturally though, that is his right to start as many threads as he wants.
I could go on Jan, but I won't for time will tell on the main bone of contention that irks many many people on here.

He is, what we in the land of ITT call a troll post, but I didn't realize it until reading your explanation. Trolls literally troll the forums using controversial subject matter with the intent of starting trouble, rather than starting a genuine dialog. Again why I appreciate your insights as a means to ID this poster as a troll

I know what you mean, but we´re constantly having things "rammed down our throats" as you say by others too....Obama and guns spring to mind!
There is something odd about him, and it´s not just the obvious language barrier (partly why he misunderstands things I think). Sometimes I think he is a young boy, so I try not to get involved in his threads as it makes me feel a little uncomfortable with that thought in the back of my mind.

Yeah I was reading all posts on that forum - - - it is easy to take things out of context on Forums as it is, let alone, when you do it intentionally - - - it also shows, how most RELIGIOUS people read the holly book's just what suite's them and their need's, taking it out of context - - - - cos if one would read EVERYTHING, one would see, those books were written to scare, and control people and are far from "god's" word - - -

it's ahrd to say about his age, for I believe each and every profile has been a different age! This one here was 32, his other one was 27...the new one (if it is him) is 30. However, he has convinced a couple of ladies that he's for real though.

yes, what separates the troll is the malicious intent. Controversy, problems, negativity, hostility can develop anywhere unintentionally, but IME, you see it easily resolved among genuine posters.
