cgedvr: Know me??? You don't know me...the biggest A..hole on CS...always the smart/dumba** remarks....Act...its just fun...if ya don't like it, go hang out on the women over 40 thread
Act....you wanna talk about an act...its the puko loco show
But how one acts is of course a reflection on oneself - doubtless the most important "reflection," no?
I mean that the ultimate person we want to be loyal to is ourselves. But I admit that my conduct on CS, even in the beginning, was aimed at attracting a certain kind of person, so in a sense I was already in that "loyalty mode."
I think it's very easy to come across in many ways online, J. But you can sometimes notice differences or adjustments when one starts to 'get closer' to someone on here, don't you think? Yes, you're correct... "This above all others ~ to thine own self be true." But there are times we feel a bit safer or more at ease to act differently/sillier because we are behind this shield called a computer, don't you think?

I don't know. I don't think I've ever misbehaved or acted silly online.
sweetowen: I agree. But isn't that the same as in RL, J? If you're unattached, how you act is only your business. But if you're connected to someone else, how you come across is, in a way, also a reflection of them, no?
you didnt ask me but i disagree
we are individuals and our behavior, if there is discomfort among partners, will be hopefully discussed between partners-
as i mentioned- its other people here and their judgements and their forum comments on what is not their business (my behavior/flirting on forums) that is indeed a reflection on them but absolutely not (in my world of what i care about) is mickeys behavior a reflection on me, or mine on him
demonfairy: Do you thinking flirting and cutting up in the forums will cause problems later if you fine someone you like on here.
lets say you go to a party...you're having a good time...laughing and "cutting up", as you say...and during that time of joking you do a little harmless flirting....you meet someone at the party, and later, they become irate over the flirting....who's the one with the bigger problem ???
{i guess it would be me, 'cause i just hooked up with a nut case... }
