Loneliness is a state of mind that I know will pass with positive thoughts. I know that I am the one responsible for my thoughts. I refuse to play a victim!!!!
To deal with I hit the gym, Go on line, yard work, I am self employed so there is always something to do to.
Get out and become active.

sweden,Yes I agree, but sometimes some of these things are not possible at the moment your feeling this way.
But yes fighting these feelings with all your might, and we are the masters of our own minds.

u have no idea what a coincidence it is that u say that. So many times I have told my friends after my divorce that the worst part of the last few years of being married was feeling totally alone, yet married.....
I don't mean that vindictively as i am sure he probably felt the same way at times.

I read a good book, watch a move, clean house, walk the dogs, call family or friends. I just get out there and do things. When do I feel the loneliest? At weddings, coming home from visiting the family over the holidays, and sometimes when I'm in a crowd. My sister once wrote a poem that has always stuck in my head. i feel most lonely when i'm eating in a resto alone and then there's some sweet happy couples eating also or when i see a couple holding hands while walking..i'm kind of jealous but worst is the loneliness it gives to me..i feel like i'm the most unlucky person when it comes to love..but then i will think it is 'Better Single Than Sorry'..but its a lie!

i have heard over and over again, if one is able to be alone, enjoy being alone, love themselves enough to be alone, then they are ready not to be alone..... man, now that i say that, sounds kinda dumb..wtf..lol.....but honestly, being alone sux but i think it provides us with an opportunity to do a personality check on ourselves that makes us stronger not weaker in future relations........but dont get me wrong, no one wants to be alone.......
