conversing There's been threads on here posted by guys who ask why many women don't respond to their mails and flowers .. "at least a polite thanks, but no thanks would do."

And this is probably why many women DON'T respond dunno If you do reply with a no thanks, some you'll never hear from again but then there are those who come back with negative remarks and you end up blocking them anyway.

I don't immediate block people who I don't feel I have anything in common with, that's not usually necessary - I just leave it go and mostly they get the message. If they persist though and start getting aggro or whatever ... Blocked.

Dragonprince , noway was I making fun ..I do agree ofcourse no means no but as said before if anyone, not just yr lady friend doesnt wish to recieve mail especially from abusive men who cant take no for an answer then all they need to do is push block , they cannot email or make any contact apart from on the threads , If harrassed their the moderators will sort it out .
Ask yr friend to revamp her profile and to block any unwelcomed advances if some men dont want friendshio then they deserve it

I'm one of the guys who asked this very same question and still believe that if someone takes the time to send you a message, but you're not interested in them, the very least you can do is to say no thanks. It's just simple common courtesy to reply to a message from a member that has not contacted you before and is genuinely interested in you. If you are not interested and don't want to recieve messages from that member again then reply BEFORE you block them. Manners ladies manners, or am i just being too old fasioned by being polite?

wave

I think you'll find that happens to most of the women on here dunno

I assume she has set up her account so that any mail from people that she doesn't want contact from, goes into her filter box confused

Has she set age, country etc parameters up? Because otherwise she would be flooded with mail from countries all over the world as most Western women are, if they allow it. It doesn't take long for the penny to drop on that front .. I imagine most of us aren't really looking for guys in Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc.

Sounds like she might just need to get things sorted, like we all had to early in the piece laugh so that she has a little more control over the situation.

All the best wine

well for the kiwis don't go on NZ dating as that is all you get from guys & girls.

sometimes it is a communication thing. often guys have no idea what is going on.

recently on another site woman was keen to meet to look for a long term relationship, but when I fronted, first it was great, then it wasn't then it was very friendly & now after she said no more but keep in touch, she won't reply.

get the feeling she just didn't want me, but that is not reason she gave. It was her issues she had to sort. well I think her issue is leading guys on then getting her fun & moving onto the next one without really saying no more. she likes the attention & she is not the only women I know of who does this.

So I am going to ask her in next few days.

meanwhile I will just enjoy the forums here. it is why I came back. some pretty good banter.

dragonprince: Thanks for your input and I will pass it on,

confused You pass it on to the lovely woman you were chating over months and had to leave the site because she couldn't handle love ecards.. Does that mean you've her privat email? laugh What are you bothering then, you should be happy she's off this site and you've her all to yourself.

My first feeling was that she had just found an easy way out and away from you.
My second feeling is that a woman who's unable to protect her space on a dating site with enough tool available could have serious problems to do so out in the real world.

Just MPO without intention to offend anybody.
