Well if it was not for the clouds and the rain and the little wind it would be lovely

It has been 90% Humidity plus here in some area's of the UK for weeks. - Some of us who have breathing problems through no fault of our own include Asthma sufferers who haven't slept properly for weeks - we don't have aircon to complain about either.

I don't know which weather station you might have used to check on the humidity in Cyprus... in fact this very topic regarding humidity figures has been a bone of contention on one of our local forums here.... but believe me over the past month we have experienced some unusually high figures in relation to the humidity coupled with the high August temperatures....
I am in no way knowledgeable bout the technicalities of weather forecasting etc., but the other thing to bear in mind is the diverse way in which the weather can change here in Cyprus simply by driving over the border of one town to the next (e.g. driving through heavy rain in one town and literally driving onto parched dry road...) similarly temperature in the inland areas can vary to temperature along the coastal areas or in the Troodos Mountains...
The humidity has varied slightly over the last day or so... but here is a link to the MSN weather forecast....
... and if you scroll down to where the various cities are listed you will notice the variance in temperature can be as much as 4 degrees....

It rains when I get on my bike, plus I have headwind both going to work and coming back home 
But, at least there's no sun beaming down on my bonce giving me headache. So, that's a bonus
