Can't believe they charge you a fiver to get into the pleasure beach now though . As if they didn't make enough money before. No more rides on the big one for me on principle
Oh I love Blackpool. I used to go for a weeks holiday when illuminations were on. I prefer the south pier bit though. Only time I visit North Pier is when I get off the train. I wish some of the shops here locally would get it air con installed, some of them are so stuffy,its like walking in to a greenhouse.
I'm home now switched the fans on (no air con for me,lol)
Going out to watch the final firework display of our towns Heritage festival week tonight,it will be even better and longer than last weeks.I'll probably end up in one of the harbour side pubs after....
Well it was glorious earlier....had the pink dress looked out for tonight...pink sandals...pink nails done.....blah de blah.... then the rain came on....have to rethink now!

Same here but this morning and whilst being dull now, the temerature is cooler, the air smells fresh, and I am only a mile or so from the sea.

Bright and breezy here today.....thunderstorms have been forecast for today. Yippee, I just love watching a thunderstorm. No sign of it yet though.....probably arrive and leave during the night when I'll be asleep and miss it.
