You're refering to Sinn Fein, and yes they are a political party/movement.
Initally the IRB, later becoming the IRA were a group of Freedom fighters....... however to many, they ceased being that when they began slaughtering innocent people.
Steve is correct in that they have disbanded and disarmed. There are disident republican groups still hellbent on killing and bombing...... against the wishes of over 95% of the population both North and South of the border

Turkey...my learned friend is a secular country but the main religion is islam. Are you also aware that the have banned the burqa from public buildings....a muslim country would not do that.

Indeed I would. And as one of the 95% who supported the removal of articles from our constitution to enable the process, I'm truely delighted that the madness has stopped... Something, when younger, i doubted would happen in my lifetime
