maryannaJust around 50+, Ontario Canada2 Threads 185 Postswell someone might say "hey can I have a pic of you" & so you give it to them thinking "oh, boy"! your gonna get one of them & then they don't even get back to you let alone give you a pic....it's all a sneaky trick sometimes which I have learned to catch on to. SO now it's "you first" type of deal or forget it. I am not saying all are like that, but some are. I won't judge all by a few idiots. 
I agree, to be on this site we all have to tell a little about ourselves. Earlier in the week a woman sent me an email with no pic. She also told me that her entire profile was B.S. She explained that she didn't want anyone to know what she was really about. My thoughts were;"why are you here?". I didn't reply and blocked her.

I have a pic, I would send it to said person if I was happy with the conversation, I choose not to post a pic, I beleive in choice, if you choose not to get to know me in any sense other than what I look like, that's your choice and I can respect that.

Not an opinion I agree with, if there is no pic, could be for the same reason as me, who knows, I am not going to speculate, I am sure he would let me know in conversation....

If you get 'fooled'...well it's the chances we take on a computer dating site, it isn't the first and I am sure it won't be the last time that someone got 'fooled' via the internet.

Lots of people have pics taken in the right light, angle and atmosphere. It is merely a glimpse. Give me their eyes anyday to see where I am going or not....
There are a couple of things I hate, and one of them is to be ignored... So I don't do it to others. If I have a flower or an email, I answer.

I don't have a picture up, but it's because I don't have a scanner nor a digital camera. And it doesn't mean enough to me to go out and buy one. I figure if they don't want to talk to me because I don't have a picture up, it's their perogative. And that's okay.

not true....we don't post pics because we don't have any, or we don't want to...we look better in person by the way......not some old high school picture out of the year book. If the guy doesn't want to post his pic, that fine and it is not a problem, for all I know, is that really you in that pic?

i dont think a picture is that important when you are trying to get to know someone, But i would not go on a first date if i didnt see what the woman looks like. they may be a great person but if i dont feel a physical connection as well then we should just stay friends. And i dont mean to sound superficial.
No pics no response. Even the slightess lewd or suggestive message is replied with good luck in your search and blocked. I'm not here for charity or to be nice. I am here because I wish to meet eligble men who are not pervs or otherwise. A gentleman would not be suggestive or lewd in anyway.

The only job I can think of where security might be a factor in not posting a photo, is maybe a cop? They don't even like to wear nametags.
I really don't give a hoot whether my boss knows or not. Don't see the big deal.....
Outside of my job i have a life that my employers play no part in whatsoever...when i agreed to work for them that is what i meant "work"...that does not trickle down to be interpreted as "being owned by..."...
