mick64: hi all, as some know i am trying to find my kids with no success.
the only link i have is thru a website simular to this one where i have spoken to my ex thru emails.
what i am hoping for is someone who my know how to track back thru that website to her i.p. address. at least an idea of what area she is in. she refuses to tell my kids i am searching.

I've been really lucky at finding all kinds of info on people...by putting name and birthdate in Google. You'd be surprised what you come up with if you take the time to really peruse.

Look through the older threads on these forums, as I remember a guy that was busting scammers on here. He said he could track their ip adds etc. Maybe some of the other posters on here will remember who I mean and which thread it was?? He may be able to help you. Good luck man!

privacy policies mick. best way is to talk to common friends of yours and start from there. relatives etc.

There is software free on the net that will allow you to track to an ip adress but no further but that will tell you the area they are in.

Just a thought and not meaning to be rude, but how does anyone know the OP is genuine? It's all very well being good intentioned, but how would someone feel if they found they had helped a stalker, or perhaps there is a court order preventing someone from getting in contact?
There are correct channels for parents who have lost touch with their children, and I really believe the OP should use those and not go though members of CS.
