I’ve found a hotel on Cyprus that’d suit me, but I couldn’t find a direct flight there not only from my town, but even from Stockholm. And as flying via Prague, Budapest or London feels slightly too much, too long and too expensive, so I had to settle for Turkey instead. Hope the weather won’t let me down…

A flight from turkey doesn't sound right! Are you sure you're going to proper side of cyprus and not the turkish occupied north?

Well… looks like I’ve expressed myself wrong: I’m not planning to go to Cyprus from any side, not this time, as I couldn’t find a direct flight there. I’m planning to spend my vacation in Turkey instead, and hoping for good weather.

Thank you! Though I’m sure I’d enjoy the time on Cyprus as well if I ever come there. All I want is sun and bath, and as I understand, there wouldn’t be much difference wherever you are as long as it’s September and Mediterranean. dancing

It feels already as autumn here – rain and rain and rain… sigh

What`s it like?

Dirty help

Great local people, but close your eyes as you go traveling along the roads, they completely missed the thing about landscape and its beautification.

Try the tea, ride a camel, find a friend and visit the bazaars.

I think I am scratching Tunisia off my travel plans, since reading up on it......

Too many innoculations to have ...... I do not like imbibing toxins into my precious flesh.

Too many diseases there.

Not recommended to eat fresh raw salads.

Not recommended to drink the water.... and I cant stand bottled water!

Too much pushy-pushy salesmen at everything and anything you look at.

And for a ONE week holiday I need to travel to the other side of Switzerland to personally apply for a visa .. and I cannot be bothered to do that.... So will stick to EU countries.

That makes so much more sense. To be faffing about with visa's and all that stuff is so laborious and there are so many wonderful countries in the EU...Greece and her Islands, Cyprus etc etc.

If you are planning to wear a bikini, won't be that difficult, but if not there's only one beach available dancing

Nein! I read up on their official web page all the things to do and not do! ..and what is required for visiting. Did that last week!

Some people dont mind vaccinations and innoculations - Me not!

And I definitely could not spend a week eating ALL cooked food! and drinking bottled water!

I don't blame you...Why do all that when there are so many other cleaner places to visit?

Have you decided yet? If not, meet me on the italian part of the Adriatic coast in 2 weeksapplause
