As long as there are bully's on the school playground, there will be dictators and tyrants.
Humanity has always been fighting itself.
Always.
Fact of life.
Democratic types of government however, as documented by history, have initiated far fewer wars than any other from of government.
So, to me, it seems to come down to the issue of managing it as best is possible.
And the theory that a good offensive capability creates the best defensive capability.
There are simply some really bad people out in this world, and when they get together, they get much worse. And when good people do nothing, evil can begin to rule.
And thank God for all the heroes everywhere, all the time....

In our society created by man there is no place for heart. Man has to learn to be more heartful because reason has led the whole of humanity towards a global suicide. Reason has destroyed the harmony of nature, the ecology. Reason has given beautiful machines, but it has destroyed the beauty of humanity. A little more heart is needed in everything. A womens touch... is needed more than ever... we need balance.
