I shall keep him in my thoughts together with your son, and you too, that you will remain strong to be there for both of them. Stranger things have happened, and miracles are possible...stay strong
Ah Morgan, so sorry to read this. There is just no positive side to any of it, except perhaps to say that he has enriched other peoples' lives by having been a part of their lives.
I hope his girlfriend and his children will receive the support they need.
so sorry to hear what you are going through...cancer is such a devastating disease, you are in my thoughts, prayers and I hope you find some type of comfort in all of this somehow.
Oh Morgan dear, such a thing to be going through and as I've read feeling helpless....what a brave young man, and your son at his side and wanting to help, but the best at this point is all the time you all can be with him....oh my, so heavy on my heart, I will pray for all of you, to have the strength to endure...God always has a plan, and at this time I wonder in my heart of hearts what it may be...but prayers to all of you sweet people..
morgan5: My son has had a life long friend since the age of 5yrs, his name is Neil and he is now 26yrs.
They played together, laughed together, cried together and got into all sorts of mischief together. He was there for my Son when his baby stillborn and was the only that could get through to him.
Five months ago he was diagnosed with Cancer, he has had treatment but yesterday I was told he has 6 months at the most to live.
He has a beautiful 4yr daughter of whom he has custody and his current girlfriend is now pregnant.
He was taken back into hospital last night because he is in so much pain.
My Son is devasted and trying so hard to be brave for his friend.
All I am asking is that you keep this young man in your thoughts, I am not religious so will not ask for your prayers.

Thinking of you Neil, love you
YOU HAVE MY PRAYERS AND HOPE ITS A BETTER DAY FOR HIM TOMORROW:t
Knowing that you are losing someone so young and so tragically is too much to bear. I have a son who is 26 and I would be lost if anything happened to him. You will all be in my thoughts.
My thoughts are with you hun. Lost my dad a few years ago to cancer and my sis who already has MS survived a scare last year, so can understand your anger and sorrow.
