LOL no doubt... hey I have an idea.... lets carry around a 2000 year old book that has been revised so many times from the original stories that it is not even close to the same book. Nevermind the fact that many of the stories that didn't go with what the church in power at the time wanted the people to hear were completely left out. Stories that change the entire nature of the book.... Nevermind the fact that back then we used to get a chisel and a rock and pound holes in the heads of people to let out the demons when they were mentally ill. Nevermind the fact that science can now disprove or explain most of what was written in the book. Lets just blindly follow and accept what it says word for literal word as the "gospel" the "gods honest truth" etc. etc... Because those people 2000 years ago who probably lived to a ripe old age of 25 knew much much more than we know today. I guess that's easier than having to think for yourself and make decisions based on your own experience.
