I won't date a smoker for several reasons:
1. The smoke bothers me.
2. The smoke taste in her mouth bothers me even more.
3. When we go out, we will have to sit in the smoking area or she will get up from the table every few minutes to smoke outside.
4. She is going to have increased risk of health problems later in life (yes, I am thinking long-term here)
This is just off the top of my head. I will probably come up with more later.

I'm a non smoker and the last person I was with was a smoker. When I was in my teens and I would a girl smoke I used to find that attractive, don't know why but that's the truth. Nowadays if I end up dating I would try and convince her to quit (but I would care about her health, yet I don't like tell people what to do so i try not to push it)
In the end the fact that she smoke didn't bother me.
