IamJloBlindsville, Florida USA1 Threads 56 PostsI went on a double date last week with my best girlfriend who smokes. Her date kept making nasty faces behind her back whenever she would light up. He then kept saying "I thought you said you were just a social smoker?" all night long, got annoying. So even when you think you can tollerate a bad habit, it's not fair to enter into a relationship ready to start changing your partner.

I dated a woman who smoked. She would light up anywhere. I asked her mot to smoke in my car but she did. I'll never date a woman who smokes again.

MovingToBarbados: Seems more MEN are willing to accept women smokers, than women are willing to accept men who do it. But, there is something about the taste of 'cigarette-tongue' during a french-kiss, lol. I think smokers are immune to it, but non-smokers pick up on that 'taste' immediately. Eww! Not to mention, it turns your lips three shades darker. I don't see how smokers do it! Smoking is GROSS!

Err smoking dope's a different thing and you'd hope a dope smoker wouldn't get through 40 spliffs a day.
I smoke cigarettes - roll ups - which don't leave so much of a stink in hair clothes and soft furnishings. But I accept it's a complete no-no for some people. And I hate smoking in the bedroom (steamyness is OK) and around children.

Dating a woman who smokes is like having to clean the cat litter by licking it and eating the big bits. The sight of post-50's women with parchment skin and wrinkles around their mouths, their clothes that stink, and their brittle hair, stained with nicotine. Well, I could go on, but I guess you get my drift.

4. She is going to have increased risk of health problems later in life I am thinking long-term here)

this is what annoys me...if the nonsmokers the one wanting fresh air then why dont they sit outside...
