RobbieM: Oh yes, the giant orange superbeast in on my lap pinning me to the sofa.

Do you notice most comments anyone posts are ignored?

I mean, if anyone wants to chat to their friends, why not use skype, or any instant messanger?

I mean this site really is the same people saying the same banal stuff day after day, and people wonder why people don't post?

I despair at times, and i question why the hell i'm wasting my time even typing this, as people will agree or not even comment anyway?

There's hardly any expressionism, anything resembling humour for people to engage in...so they basically get bored, and take up knitting....or ironing their smalls.

Goodness!! greetings from the other end of the spectrum...I guess its all perception but I like this site because of the diversity of views from peeps all around the world. Its a facinating social study.

Just because someone doesnt respond to your post doesnt mean it hasnt been read and noted, It would get pretty tedious to respond to every post out there and pretty much inhibit the free flow of conversation.

As for expression, This site is full of characters expressing themselves. At least thats what I see. The humour cracks me up and I love to cut up with peeps here all the time...In fact I bet I could count on it cracking me up everyday if I were so inclined.

Wow I feel bad for you that this is what you get out of it. I suppose you truly do get out what you put in. For me anyway I see the glass as 1/2 full wine

You actually see this as fulfilling in any way? I mean as a substitute to something you could do in the real world?

Nearly always posts are too short to grasp any depth of someones personality, and sadly i'm afraid some people don't seem to have a discernible personality to display!

And believe me, the quality is very thin on the ground compared with some of the genuine characters that were members on the site.

It's very very watered down now....and sometimes very stale, almost stagnant.

But i'm glad you get something out of it, it's a shame you didn't witness the site a few years ago...

I live in the real world Darlin, this is just part of it. I do remember the threads were more lively last year, but it could be that there are more users in the winter or the holiday season ...who knows...the point is I enjoy it. Its a fun thing to leave my puter on as I putter about chatting on and off with peeps. Ive made friends here. Some Ive even invited into my life...others I just lmao. And who knows?? maybe someday I will bang into my forever man. Life is truly what you make it. wine

You´re right in some ways. there were more interesting threads and members in the past in my opinion too, but that´s the way of this technological world we live in, everything becomes stale and past it´s sell by date in a very short period of time. However, it´s always new for others so we shouldn´t be so negative.

I think the sane and sensible people of CS aren´t here 24/7 and they treat this site as a means of communication with people in different countries and having different cultures they would never meet normally, and that´s a positive no?

It would nice if more people posted. It seems to be a small circle of the same people posting all the time. We need new blood just to make things interesting
