JAN_is: I hope Santa has read your wish list and you have a wonderful time, whether alone, with your families, or like me dishing out dinners and teaching Christmas carols in English to the homeless or marginalised folk here in my part of Spain. I´m really looking forward to it.
I´m spending tomorrow, Christmas Eve (more important than Christmas day here) with close friends...my children are in China with their lovely dad, his turn this year, and I can´t get to the UK to be with the rest of my family due to the poor weather flying restrictions...and prices!
Whatever you´re doing, wherever you are, and whoever you are with, be happy and safe.

Well, I had an 18 lb turkey I never cooked frozen solid in the freezer so I gave it to a a poor neighbor for Christmas dinner and I'll be having dinner at their house. It's better than letting it go to waste besides this way I don't have to cook it. They have two girls about 9 & 13 and their tiny house only has a kerosene space heater for heat. So this way at least I wont be totally alone.
Sorry you can't make it to the UK Jan, I know you must be bummed out by that. I hope you have a memorable Christmas.
