Why can't we all agree on the following:
Israel has a legitimite right to exist and live in peace. However she needs to safeguard her people and deter and stop terrorist attacks where necessary.
Until the Palestinians recognise Israel's right to exist and drop weapons and attacks, then Israel has every right to defend her people.

Wow_Factor: Israel is going nowhere. Israel is neither relocating to Uganda as U2Kitty seriously thought Israel should.
As I stated many times, and others on here too, Israel holds out the olive branch, which is spat on by her enemies. When her enemies change their Charter, recognise Israel's right to exist and make peace, then all will be hunky-dory. Until then Israel is doing what she can to protect her citizens.
My ancestry - both sides of my family came to the UK and USA in the late 1800s. They knew the freedom of the UK and USA would be beneficial for them. Each of the families lived in tiny apartments in tenement blocks in poor areas until they could better themselves, making a better life for their descendants.

Conrad , I told you twenty times at least, that I don't advocate killing in any form. I KNOW that dialogue can resolve all issues. The Irish and the US are not at war and never have been. Israel needs to safeguard her citizens, and quite a lot of arab and Christian citizens too live in Israel.
