¨Cut out from work early again today? Only 13.15 hours your time!
SilverBirch: Didn't your god (which god is it ttom, you've said your not Jewish?)so it must be the same as my god which says "Thou shalt not kill" etc.
My God says...though shall not kill. He also says to love thy neighbor. When you neighbor house has a fire or trouble you aid them.
TEL AVIV - Shortly after he "defeated" United States President Barack Obama (to quote prominent Israeli analyst Aluf Benn) and forced him to retract a settlement construction freeze demand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started to back off. "I am prepared to immediately sit privately for direct, continuous negotiations with Abu Mazen [Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas] until white smoke emerges," Netanyahu proclaimed on Saturday.
In recent days, moreover, Netanyahu advanced two other controversial claims: that he had agreed to an extension of the settlement construction moratorium, and that he had supported the "two states for two peoples" formula for over 15 years. The latter claim, in particular, drew an angry response from Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni: "Nobody believes you because you say different things in different forums."

Israel is our neighbor.
An artificial neighboor...ok.. well. then the Palesitnian people (yeah killed as Hamas shields, never by the holy Israeli army) are also neighboors, right?..

Graet that the Palestinians decided to come to the Table when the Moratorium was about to run out,and with near certainty wasn't going to be renewed! Pissed another Opportunity away! And you,SB,take political Haymaking as Trends!

A neighbor is a neigbhor.....no need to place a adjective to them. I recognize that Israel has made mistakes in the past. But Hamas as a known and recognized terrorist group, is not my neighbor.
Do I feel for the innocent palestine caught between the two? Sure. That is why I support the Abbas/Netanhyu peace talks. To give the Palestines of Abbas a nation state...that again I can call neighbor.

Antjo39: Ypur request is too open. Probably you have also read in that post that I know exactly the land they gained at the cost of the people living there, say the Palestinians. They acted following their own interests and needs to survive and prevail (all at the cost of the Palestinians). Palestinians should demand their land back? they should... but they cannot when they have experienced their own diaspora, they have been assimilated by the other states including Israel, and when the conflict has been twisted into bloody religion.
All the surrounding states play the fool about their trades of land with the Israelis in the past, and certainly they do not care about a solution, as they never did before. It is all screwed up, but nothing of this takes the bullying Israeli policies away or giving the Zionists (or gov. officers, whatever you call them) the category of peace fighters.
Another non answer. Ignore Hammas, hezbollah,Egypy,Syria and Jordan and spend the time on a critique of "ZIONISM" and Israel. Now you see why I do not bother posting on the longest running thread on of any on CS many titles and the Same subject. Ignore the Facts ALL OF THE COUNTRIES involved share blame and even the poor palestinians as well. this thread however should be named the Anti Israel and Never mind the facts Thread and then we would get one thread 51 pages instead of numerous threads under different titles and only one subject...
As always JMO .....Do not other to reply I have heard it all for a year or more and it is so so tired a one book lirary and sadly only one page in the book
SilverBirch: Wait ttom, You too said you were not Jewish?
I am not, Jewish....SB...am a born again Christian, but I do recognize the Old Testament and its connections to the New Testament. You cannot take the New Testament alone without the Old Testament.
Would be like trying to understand Star Trek V without seeing 1-IV.
