I like these kinds of threads - it is a good question, in my opinion.
A metaphor about love between the genders - romantic love.
Love is like the oxygen in the air we breathe that goes into our lungs. We need it to survive and it isn't pure oxygen (love) it has other components in it (caring, loyalty, friendship, empathy,insecurities - insert all types of emotions here)
And how much we breathe in depends on the capacity of our body. If we are in a place where the air is thin (insert negative emotions here - jealousy, anger, neglect, selfishness) no matter how much we breathe - there is not enough oxygen (love)to live on. When it is rich in oxygen (love) - we can feel lightheaded and giddy- and we have increase in health and vitality. When there is not enough oxygen (love) in the air, we can sufficate - sickness can result (in body and soul).
The world is full of oxygen (love) and for our purpose can be infinite, breathed in and out with great joy as long as our hearts beats. And the world has many places that lack good air to breathe. The trick is to find that special someone who can be in the same place rich with oxygen for both to breathe.

My respect Madam. I still think people like you are very rare. Usually for others love brings more negative feelings -in the long run- than anything else.Love was the biggest giver of happiness,self acceptance,and joy.

Well, I do not forget that particularly, BUT the highest highs come with pain too. So maybe, only those that know how to control the cost of pain while loving and achieving heights are those that can put those two things together in the end.

I realised that besides all the things that made us dislike each other, there were many moments when we had the potential to be good friends, and probbaly we could have been friends today. I mean a friendship based on brotherhood and affinity. However, we had a better idea, we decided to follow a relationship, as others based on hopes, previous wounds and disabilities, so we fell apart inevitably by the evil action of love and its heavy requirements.
Is it love- I mean that kind of love between a male and a female - one of the biggest sources of pain on this earth?

yes i would agress with you on that one love is one of the most painfull things on the earth ,i have been hurt so many times and it feels like my heart ripped out my chest each time .so yes it is
